Call Forwarding/Call Forwarding Remote Access
Now when you are away from your home, your calls can be automatically sent to
you. With CALL FORWARD, there is no need to leave
messages about where you are or reveal any forwarding numbers.
To forward your calls:
- Dial 7 2 #, then listen for the special tone.
- Now dial the number where you want your calls to be forwarded. (You
can use SPEED CALLING codes if you have this feature.
- The CALL FORWARD feature is in effect when someone answers at the forwarded
number. If there is no answer at the forwarded number or if the line is
busy, hang up the phone and repeat the steps above. If you do so within
two minutes, you'll hear two "beeps" meaning your CALL FORWARD
feature is now working. Once you've activated CALL
FORWARD, your phone will make one short ring each time a call is
forwarded. You can still make outgoing calls from this phone. If you
wish to change the number to which your calls are being forwarded, just
deactivate the feature (see below), then follow the steps above to forward your
calls to a new number.
To deactivate CALL FORWARD:
- Dial 7 3 #.
- Listen for two beeps, then hang up. The feature is no longer in
effect, and calls will ring on your phone.
Call Forward Remote Access
Now if you forgot to forward your calls before leaving your home, you can forward your calls from virtually any touch tone phone.
- Dial the dedicated access number (605 if needed) + 637-9292 or 652-9292.

- Listen for the special dial tone. You're now ready to activate (dial 7 2 #, listen for a special tone, then dial the number you want your calls forwarded to, wait for a confirmation tone, then hang up) or deactivate CALL FORWARD (dial 7 3 #, listen for two "beeps" and hang up).
To change the added number, simply repeat the remote access and activation steps. You do not need to deactivate the feature first.

Call Waiting/Cancel Call Waiting
Now, while talking on the phone you won't miss another call. With CALL WAITING, a special tone alerts you to an incoming call when you are on the phone; the caller hears only a normal ring. You can then place your current call on hold and answer the new call.
To use:
- A short beep tells you another call is waiting on your line (a reminder beep will sound in 10 seconds if you haven't answered the call).
- Push the switchhook momentarily to place the first call on "hold" and answer the second call.
- Return to the first call by momentarily pushing the switchhook again, leaving the second caller on "hold."
- Alternate between the two calls.

Simply dial an access code (*70) prior to placing your call. When you disconnect your call, CALL WAITING is automatically reactivated.
If you have 3 WAY CALLING you can CANCEL CALL WAITING during a call. Place your current call on hold by depressing the switchhook for one second, listen for the dial tone, then dial *70. Listen for a special "beep-beep" tone, then depress the switch hook for one second and return to your call.

Notes:
- Subscription to Calling Number or Calling Name and Number requires the lease or purchase of a display telephone or an add-on unit.
- If a "P" or "private" appears on your display after the first ring, the caller may have blocked the display of their name and number by pressing *67 (or dialing 1167 on a rotary phone) before placing the call. You can choose to answer the call or not.
- If an "O" or "out of area" appears, the caller is in an area that does not support Calling Name and/or Number services.

- Push the switchhook momentarily to return the first person to the line and complete the three way connection.
